RESOLUTION NO. `77-120
WHEREAS, on March 19, 1975, MARVIN CARTER was appointed
to the Indian River County Coastal zone Management Advisory
Committee; and
WHEREAS, on December 7, 1.977, tale Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, reluctantly
accepted the resignation of :lAIZVIN CARTER from the above-
cited Committee; and
WHEREAS, MARVIN CARTER served the citizens of India11
River County with great dedication and respOnsi.bility while
acting as a Member of the Indian River County Coastal Zone
Management Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, MARVIN' CARTER brought to the Committee a
tremendous expertise as a surveyor and l.oncltime resident
of Indian River. Country, and hi -s local knoWledcle of our coastal
zone added greatly to prober formation of a Coastal 'bone
Management Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, nE IT P,ESOI,VFD BY THE, BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONER; OI' INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the
Board, on behalf of itself and the citizens of Indian River
County, honors MARVIN CARTER for his diligent work, leadership
and contr.ibut.i.on of time while serving as a Member of. the
Indian River County Coastal Zone I•tanagcment Advisory Committee.
