WHEREAS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY has contracted to purchase
all of the assets of URBA14 DEVELOPMENT UTILITIES, INC. for a
cash payment of SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($75,000.00),
plus reasonable and necessary expenses; and
WHEREAS, because of certain title defects it may be
necessary to escrow FORTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($45,000.00)
until such time as the title defects are corrected; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the people of
Gifford and of Indian River County to ?roceed with the closing
as expeditiou.ily as possii,le;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RI;!,,rILVFD BY THE BOARD OF CfWNTY

documents to consursmate the closing of the purchase of URDA;I
I)EVFL')I''II:NT UTILITIES,,, INC. assets pursuant to that Contract
the I,arties; and
HE IT FURTHER PESOLVED, That the Chairman i.1 authorized
to escrow such `undo as are necessary in ordrr to consummate
the transaction yet protect the interests of the County.
