WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN
RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, on behalf of the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE
PROTECTION MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING DISTRICT, has held a public
hearing on September 27, 1979 for the purpose of adopting a
budget for the District for the fiscal year 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser has provided the
evaluations of the non-exempt property in said District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was noticed by publication and
the needs of the District discussed in open forum;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following
budget is hereby adopted for the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION
MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING DISTRICT:
1. ESTIMATED RECEIPTS & BALANCES:
Local Sources $ 814,115
Ad Valorem Taxes 364,949
Less: 5% per F.S. 129.01 (58,953)
NET 1,120,111
Cash Balance Forward
(October 1, 1979) 415,000
TOTAL ESTIMATED RECEIPTS & BALANCES $1,535,111
2. APPROPRIATIONS:
Operating Expenses $1,264,099
Reserve for Contingencies 110,000
Cash Forward 161,012
TOTAL BUDGET $1,535,111

Said Resolution shall become effective as of the 27th day
of September, 1979.
