BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ,
® OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, RALPH W. SEXTON has submitted his resignation
from the Indian River County Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, RALPH W. SEXTON has faithfully served the interests
-sof all of the citizens of Indian River County and diligently
performed his duties as a member of the Indian River County
Planning and Zoning Commission, taking into consideration all of
the facts and making objective decisions; and
WHEREAS, during RALPH W. SEXTON'S tenure on the Indian River
County Planning and Zoning Commission, both as a member and as
Chairman of said Commission, the population of Indian River County
has been greatly increased but because of the diligence of the �o
Commission our community has retained its unique qualities; and C�
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has previously
honored RALPH W. SEXTON, for his accomplishments as a member of
the Indian River County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 7,
01978; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the many accomplishments set forth jG

in the prior Resolution honoring RALPH W. SEXTON, RALPH W. SEXTON
r has also been instrumental in seeing other matters brought to a
successful conclusion, among them being:
Adoption of Emergency Flood Ordinance;
/ Rezoning of Wabasso Road;
v/ Rezoning of Oslo Road; and
C Amending the Site Plan Approval Section of Zoning ,
Ordinance
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BV THL BOARD OF COUNTY
�COPlA1ISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the Board
accepts RALPH W. SEXTON'S resignation from the Indian River County
Planning and Zoning Commission with regret and with heartfelt �
gratitude on behalf of itself and the citizens of Indian River
'County to RALPH W. SEXTON for his diligent service to the
j� community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Com-
missioners of Indian River County, Florida, wishes RALPH W. S}i;XTON
continued success in his future endeavors. r
Said Resolution shall become effective as of the 7th day of cam(\
May, 1980.
