HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-094RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 94 WHEREAS, there is a need to provide a procedure to routinely pay bills for goods and services which amount to less than Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) by the use of facsimile signatures, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Checks for any purpose which exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) will require one live signature in addition to two facsimile signatures. 2. Checks in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) or less may be signed with a facsimile device without the requirement of a live signature when back-up material consisting of: (a) invoices from vendor, (b) copy of signed purchase order (c) copy of signed delivery receipt are available prior to signature. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Department shall supply the Board of County Commissioners with a check register showing all checks issued, including the vendor's name and check amount on such regular basis as the Board of County Commissioners shall, by motion, determine. * * * * * * * * * * This Resolution shall become effective as of the 24th day of September , 1980.
