BOARD Ori' BOUNTY COMMISSIONERS
' OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER was appointed by the Hoard of County
commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, to serve as a member(_
of the Indian River County Plannin(,I and Zoning Commission on
June 6, 1977; and
) WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER served as Vice Chairman of the Indian C
river County Planning and Zoning Commission from January 10, 1980
)Intil September 9, 1980; and
WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER, served as Chairman of the Indian River C
County Planning and Zoning Commission from September 9, 1980 until
becember 4, 1980; and
> WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER, first served the citizens of this C
County with regard to zoning matters when he was appointed to the
board of Zoning Adjustment on February 9, 1977, in which capacity
tie served until the Hoard of County Commissioners decided he would
be a good candidate for the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER has been instrumental in the adoption �.
bf legislation which have made Indian Rivet County a better place �
4n which to live, among them being:
Adoption of Site Plan Approval Ordinance and the

Amendment to include Minor Site Plan Approval

> Adoption of Landscape Ordinance
Proposed rezoning of State Road 510-512
Proposed rezoning of Oslo Road

Constantly up -dating of Zoning Districts for Indian River
County
Adoption of Ordinance amending Southern Standard Building
Code

WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER has served the people of Indian River
bounty
both in his capacity as a member of the Board of Zoning
c
Adjustment and as a member of the Indian River Country Planning and
Zoning Commission with great diligence and understanding of the/
heeds of the County; and

WHEREAS, HAROLD WINKLER has announced his resignation from said
gommission to be effective December 4, 1980;

NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOARD OF COUNTY C:OM-
�ISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that. the Board on behalf
!Pf itself and the citizens of Indian River. County, expresses its
heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HAROLD WINKLER for a job well
none; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board wishes HAROLD WINKLER
!�ontinued success in his future endeavors.
