WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, on behalf of the GIFFORD STREET LIGHTING
MUNICIPAL SERVICE DISTRICT, has held a public hearing on November
4, 1981, for the purpose of adopting a budget for the
District for the fiscal year 1981-82; and
MiEREAS, the Pioperty Appraiser has provided the evaluations
of the non-exempt property in said District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was noticed by publication and the
needs of the District discussed in open forum;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,that the following
budget is hereby adopted for the GIFFORD STREET LIGHTING MUNICIPAL
SERVICE DISTRICT for the fiscal year 1981-82:
1. ESTIMATED RECEIPTS & BALANCES:
Ad Valorem Taxes $25,320.00
Interest Income
1,000.00
LESS: 5%
(1,316.00)
Cash Balance Forward
(October 1, 1981)

TOTAL ESTIMATED RECEIPTS & BALANCES
$25,004.00
2. APPROPRIATIONS:
Utilities
$22,294.00
Professional Fees (Tax Collector)

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a levy of $12.00 per acre
or portion of acre shall be levied against each parcel within
the District.
Said Resolution
shall become effective as of the 4th day
