Wodtke, Jr. - Aye The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly -1- RESOLUTION NO. 83-88 r` A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE COUNTY BUDGET OFFICER'S ESTIMATES OF RECEIPTS OTHER THAN TAXES AND OF BALANCES TO BE BROUGHT FORWARD FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 AND ADOPTING A FINAL BUDGET FOR THE MULTIPURPOSE MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT. WHEREAS, the Budget Officer for Indian River County ascertained the needs and the fiscal policy of the Board for the f ensuing fiscal ;year and did prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for fiscal year 1983-84 including all estimates of receipts, taxes to be levied, and balances expected to be brought forward and all estimated expenditures, reserves, and balances to be carried over at the end of the year; and WHEREAS, the Board of. County Commissioners did examine the tentative budget and held public hearings pursuant to law to consider input from the citizens of Indian River County with respect to the taxes to be levied, the amounts and the use of the money derived frcxn the levy of taxes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ny THE BOARD OF C(AINTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER C(TINTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. the Cointy Budg.!t Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes, and of balances to he hrought forward, for th*, Multipurpo.rv, Municipal. Service Taxing Unit. are hereby revised as set forth in F:xhihit. A attached hereto, and 7.. that the Board of County r-rxnmissioner:s of Indian River County hereby adopts thc? attached budget as the final budget for fiscal year 1983-84 for the Multipurpose Municipal 5,ervice Taxing Unit. The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Scurlock who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Lyons and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman Richard N. Bird - Aye Vice -Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. - Aye Commissioner Margaret C.
