A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
® OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, GRANTING THE TOWN
OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY FOR EMERGENCY
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Town of. Indian River,
Shores, Florida is hereby granted a Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity to provide emergency transportation
services within Indian River County in accordance with all
applicable provisions and requirements of Chapter 401, Florida
Statutes, and rules promulgated thereunder by the Department of
Health and Rehabilitative Services.
This certificate shall be valid for the period of one
year from the date of a motion adopting same.
The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner
Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Scurlock and, upon being put to a
vote, the vote was as follows:
Chairman Richard N. Bird Aye
Vice Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye
Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Absent
Commissioner Patrick B. LyonsAye
Commissioner William C. Wodtke, Jr. Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly
passed and adopted this 16th day of November, 1983.
