A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, GRANTING THE TOWN
® OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY FOR EMERGENCY
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Town of Indian River
• ! Shores, Florida is hereby granted a Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity to provide emergency transportation
services within Indian River County in accordance with all
i
applicable provisions and requirements of Chapter 401, Florida
jStatutes, and rules promulgated thereunder by the Department of
Health and Rehabilitative Services.
This Certificate shall be valid for the period of one year
from the date of a motion adopting same.
The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner
Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Bowman and, upon being put to a vote, the vote
was as follows:
Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye
Vice Chairman Patrick B. Lyons Aye
Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye
Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye
Commissioner William C. Wodtke, Jr. Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly
passed and adopted this 19th day of December, 1984.
