HomeMy WebLinkAbout2023-021RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 021 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A WARRANTY DEED AND REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED THEREIN AND PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDING OF THE DEED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE PROPOSED AVIATION BOULEVARD EXPANSION PROJECT WHEREAS, the expansion and continuation of Aviation Boulevard from U.S. Highway 1 to 37Th Street is an Indian River County priority project; and WHEREAS, Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, by its Board of County Commissioners (Board), has previously approved the purchase of the following described real property: ; and Lots, Z, and 3, Block 3, R,D, CARTER'S SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 28 of the Pudic Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, said land now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida. Parcel Id #s: 32-39-35-00003-0030-00001,0. and 32-39-35-00003-0030-00002,0; and 3 2.39.35-00003-0030-013003.0 Lot 7. Block 3, R.D. CARTER'S SUBDIVISION, according to the plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Lucie County. Florida in Plat Book 4, Page 28; said land now lying and bring in Indian River County, Florida. Parcel 1DO: 32-39-35-00003-0030-00007,0 WHEREAS, the Board desire to complete the purchase of these parcels of real estate in a prompt and timely manner. RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 021 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the warranty deed and real property described therein is hereby accepted and the Board further authorizes the recording of the deed in the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida, for the aforementioned project. The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Flescher its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Moss put to a vote, the vote was as follows: 2023. Chairman Joseph H.
