STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
ROADWAY JURISDICTION TRANSFER AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT NO. ONE
THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this r2 day of 1921,.by and
between the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, an a ency of the State
of Florida, hereinafter called the DEPARTMENT, and INDIAN RIVER COUNTY hereinafter called the
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, on July 24, 1997, the parties entered into a Roadway Jurisdiction Transfer
Agreement, hereinafter referred to as AGREEMENT, wherein the COUNTY agreed to contribute toward
certain improvements of bridge number 880053.
WHEREAS, it has been mutually agreed that the cost of the improvements is more than
expected; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has agreed to contribute an additional $85,000.00 toward the cost
of the improvements; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto mutually agree that such amendment is in their joint best interest;

1997, as follows:
Item (d) of thr AGREEMENT shall be amended as follows:
The COUNTY agrees to contribute no more than $235,000.00 or half the cost of the bridge work,
which ever is less.

All provisions, covenants, terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT between the parties
heretofore entered into under the date of July 24, 1997, as originally set forth therein, which are not
hereby expressly amended or modified and not in conflict with the terms hereof, are hereby ratified and
confirmed and shall remain the same and be unaffected by these presents.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this AMENDMENT to be executed by the parties below for the
purposes specified herein. The effective date of this AMENDMENT shall be the date the last party of
the AGREEMENT has signed.
