• TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, FLORIDA
AND
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
ADDENDUM NO. 1
ORIGINAL AGREEMENT DATE - MARCH 9, 1992
The following items are to modify the Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement and will have full
force and effect as the Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement:
Replace Schedule "B" of the Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement, dated March 9, 1992, with
the revised Schedule "B" (copy attached). The modifications contained in the revised Schedule
"B" are as follows:
1) Add the following Closed Loop System signals:
a) S.R. 60/Beachland Boulevard at Indian River Drive East/Riverside Park Drive;
b) S.R. 60/Beachland Boulevard at Mockingbird Drive;
c) U.S. 1/S.R. 5 at Aviation Boulevard/32" Street.
2) Add the following signals (not currently on the Closed Loop System):
a) S.R. 656/17'h Street/East Causeway Boulevard at S.R. AIA;
b) S.R. 60/20' Street at 27th Avenue;
e) S.R. AIA at S.R. 60/Beachland Boulevard;
d) Beachland Boulevard at Ocean Drive.
3) Remove the signal at the intersection of 2151 Street and 6'h Avenue as it is not the
jurisdictional responsibility of the City.
All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement of March 9, 1992 remain unchanged,
with the exception of the following personnel changes in Schedule C:
a) Substitute "Christopher R. Mora", County Traffic Engineer in place of "Michael
S. Dudeck, Jr.";
b) Remove "Scott Barbour, Signal Technician I".

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the duly authorized officials of Indian River County and the City of
Vero Beach have adopted this Addendum, Addendum No. 1, to the Traffic Signal Maintenance
• Agreement dated March 9, 1992. The effective date of this Addendum small be the date of
execution.

The Indian River County Attorney's Office and Public Works Department have reviewed
and approved the latest proposed amendments to the City/County Traffic Signal
Agreement. The signed documents are attached.

RE: Indian River County Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement Addendum
Dear Chris:
We have made the changes in the referenced Addendum (attached) as outlined in your July 20,
1998 letter. If said Addendum is agreeable to the County Attorney's office, please advise so we
may schedule same for action by the City Council. By copy of this, including the attached
Addendum and the original Agreement, to the City Attorney we are requesting his comments.
We would like reviews completed in sufficient time so this matter can be placed on the City
Council's Agenda for January 5, 1999.
