We are writing to request the data needed by the actuary to perform an Actuarial Valuation with respect
to GASB Statement No. 75 for Other Post -Employment Benefits (OPEB). Below please find description
of data elements requiring your assistance.
1. Census data for each covered active employee. Please provide an Excel tab containing data on
each active employee of the County as of October 1. 2023. Remember, employees in the DROP
program are still considered active employees for health plan purposes, include DROP participants
with the active employees.
Column Contents
A Social Security Number of the Employee,
B Name of Employee,
C Gender of the Employee,
D Date of birth of the Employee,
E FRS plan code (For DROP participants, the plan code when entering DROP),
F Service credits through September 30, 2023 under Florida Retirement System
2. Census data on all Retirees. Please provide an Excel tab containing the following data elements
for only retired members (do not include surviving beneficiaries receiving a benefit) through
September 30, 2023 for whom the County was the last employer.
Column Contents
A Social Security Number of Retiree,
B Name of Retiree,
C Gender of the Retiree,
D Date of birth of the Retiree,
E Effective retirement date (for former DROP participants this is the DROP begin date),
F For former DROP participants, DROP end date,
G FRS Classification code for the classification from which the individual retired,
H Disability status (out on disability retirement, yes or no).
