HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-326AFirst Amendment to Indian River County Grant Contract This First Amendment to Indian River County Grant Contract ("Contract") entered into effective this 104" day of s0rom V 2025 by and between Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, 1800 2 th Street, Vero Beach FL, 32960 ("County") and THRIVE (Formerly the Substance Awareness Center of IRC Inc.) at 1507 20th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960 ("Recipient") for the program(s) Prevention Works!. Background Recitals WHEREAS, the County and Recipient entered into the Indian River County Grant Contract effective October 1, 2024. WHEREAS, at the December 10th, 2024, Children's Services Advisory Committee (CSAC) meeting, the committee recommended additional funding for two agencies affected by The Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network funding cut for FY 2024/2025. WHEREAS, at the December 17th, Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Indian River Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the funding requests recommended by the Children's Services Advisory Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and other good and valuable consideration, the recipient and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the County and Recipient agree as follows: 1. The background recitals are true and correct and form a material part of this First Amendment. 2. The Contract is amended to include $24,580.00 in additional funds to the THRIVE (Formerly the Substance Awareness Center of IRC Inc.) Prevention Works! Program. 3. All other terms and provisions of the Contract shall be unchanged and remain in full force and effect.
