HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-051AMENDMENT TO WORK ORDER FOR North County WWTF 24" Force Main Replacement (Project Name) This Amendment 4 to Work Order Number 14 is entered into as of February 25, 2025 , pursuant to that certain Continuing Contract Agreement, dated May 2, 2023, ("Agreement"), by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ("COUNTY") and Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. ("Consultant"). 1. The COUNTY has selected the Consultant to perform the professional services set forth in existing Work Order Number 14, with an Effective Date of February 21, 2023. 2. The COUNTY and the Consultant desire to amend this Work Order as set forth on Exhibit A (Modification to Scope of Work), attached to this Amendment and made part hereof by this reference. The professional services will be performed by the Consultant for the fee schedule and within the timeframe set forth in the Work Order, or as amended in Exhibit A, all in accordance with the terms and provisions set forth in the Agreement. 3. From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment, the above -referenced Work Order is modified as set forth in this Amendment. Pursuant to paragraph 1.4 of the Agreement, nothing contained in any Work Order shall conflict with the terms of the Agreement and the terms of the Agreement shall be deemed to be incorporated in each individual Work Order as if fully set forth herein. County Attorney Work Order 14 Amendment 4 EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF WORK, FEES, AND SCHEDULE PID # 21.23.503 SCOPE OF WORK Task 4a — Project Risk Management Bowman shall work with Utilities Staff to develop a Project Risk Register (PRR) for the 24" Force Main Replacement project. This task shall include a meeting with IRCDUS staff to review the plans and identify schedule and cost risks that may impact that project. Bowman will incorporate the risks into a register that assigns ownership, response and financial or time value. Task 4a shall commence upon Notice to Proceed (NTP) with the work to be completed within 45 days. Task 7a — Additional Construction Services In addition to the construction observation services described in Work Order 14, Task 7 Bowman will provide Variance Analysis Report and Project Action Item services during the construction phase of the project. Using the construction schedule provided by the contractor, Bowman will develop a construction and earned value schedule to be used as a project baseline. During construction, Bowman will conduct progress meetings with the contractor and IRCDUS PM. The contractor's schedule will be compared to actual construction progress, and project construction progress for the following two-week period. Bowman will prepare a variance analysis report (VAR) based in the meeting minutes. The VAR will include recommendations to bring the project back on schedule if necessary. As part of this task Bowman will review the PRR at each progress meeting and maintain a list of project action items (PAI). Task 7a will commence and proceed with the construction schedule. The fee for this task includes up to five (5) monthly meetings based on substantial construction completion at 120 -days.
