SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT & MUTUAL RELEASE
ROBERT M. JAFFE, AS TRUSTEE OF THE ROBERT M. JAFFE TRUST ("JAFFE"), and
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY (jointly "The Parties"), hereby agree and acknowledge that payment of
Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($25,000.00) by INDIAN RIVER COUNTY to
ROBERT M. JAFFE, AS TRUSTEE OF THE ROBERT M. JAFFE TRUST constitutes full and
complete satisfaction of JAFFE's Counterclaim and all claims for attorneys' fees, costs and
sanctions, filed in the Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial Circuit, in and for Indian River County,
Florida, under Case Number 312018CA000881.
THE PARTIES HEREBY mutually remise, release, acquit, satisfy, and forever discharge
each other, of and from any and all manner of action and motions which The Parties ever had or now
have against each other for any and all claims for attorneys' fees, costs and sanctions which have
been or could have been asserted in the case styled Indian River County v. Twenty -Two Beachfront
Properties, et al, filed under Case Number 312018CA000881, in the Circuit Court of the 19th
Judicial Circuit in and for Indian River County, Florida.
It is further understood and agreed that no promise or agreement not expressed within the
written terms of this document has been made by any of the parties to each other as an inducement to
enter into this agreement and that this Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release contains the entire
agreement between the parties to it and that the terms of this Settlement Agreement and Mutual
Release are contractual and not a mere recital.
