FOR PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING AND MAPPING SERVICES
This Second Extension and Amendment to that certain Agreement to provide Professional
Surveying and Mapping Services is entered into effective as of October 4, 2026, by and between Indian
River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ("County") and LJA Services, Inc.
("Surveyor").
BACKGROUND RECITALS
WHEREAS, the County and the Surveyor entered into an Agreement for Professional Surveying and
Mapping Services effective October 4, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph XVI of the Agreement contains the term and renewal provisions; and
WHEREAS, the first term commenced effective as of October 4, 2022, and ended on October 3,
2024; and
WHEREAS, the first renewal term commenced effective as of October 4, 2024, and will end on
October 3, 2026; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement, the parties desire to extend the Agreement for an additional
two years; and
WHEREAS, the County and the Surveyor executed the First Amendment to this Agreement,
effective May 19, 2026, allowing the Agreement to be assigned to LJA Engineering and amending
the agreement to include Termination for Breach language; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to rename
Surveyor from LJA Engineering, Inc. to LJA Services, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and other good and valuable consideration,
the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the County and the Surveyor agree as
follows:
1. The background recitals are true and correct and form a material part of this Second Extension and
Amendment.
2. The second renewal term shall commence effective October 4, 2026, and shall end on October 3,
2028. There are no more renewals available.
3. The Agreement is hereby amended to rename the Surveyor, LJA Services, Inc. All references to "LJA
Engineering, Inc" shall be amended to "LJA Services, Inc.".
4. All other terms and provisions of the Agreement shall be unchanged and remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Second Extension and Amendment to be
executed effective the day and year first set forth above.
