HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/30/19341 1 The County Assessor of taxes then presented the intangible tax roll, for the year 1934, same was examined and approved by the County'Commissi;oners, as provided by lair, and the following warrant was annexed thereto: _ TBE STATE OF FLORIDA To - Tr my;.t .e Yo ody , _ Tax Collector of the County of Indian River. YOU are hereby commanded to collect our of the real and personal property, and from each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed roll the taxes set down on each roll, opposite each name, corporation or parcel of land therein described, and—incase taxes so imposed are not paid at the time prescribed, by law, you are to collect the same by levy and sale of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements so assessed, or of the persons or corporation so taxed; and all such sums collected for the State taxes you are to pay to the State Treasurer at such time as may be required by law,, and at the same time you are to pay to the legally qualified depository all sums collected for County taxes, district school taxes, and other special taxes; and you are further rewired to make all collections on or before the first monday in April, and on or before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement with the Comptroller and County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, at 2:00 o'clock P. M. Tuesday, October 30th 19349 with the following membersof the Board present:. J.J.P.Hamilton, Chairman; R.E.Hudge; Frank C. Vickers; John M. Knight and Edwin :A a Helseth. Also present was Miles Warren,Clerk. The Ch&iiman announced the meeting was held for the purpose of permitting anyone to request that their name be restored on the registration' books of the County whose names have been heretofore stricken from said books by this Board.
