NNErING OF TIT DEL1NVEI i TAX ADJUSTNSNI BOARD:
TWDAY. JUNT 4th 1935.
The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, consisting of
the fallowing membere, to -wit: J.J.Poiftmilton, Chairman; tR.S:bdge; Frank C. Vickers;
E. P. Poole -and Edwin A. Helseth, together with vi. A. lunoan, Tax Assessor and Miles
Warren, Clerk of the Board met at the court Clouse at 2:30 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, dune
4th 1935 for the purpose of forming the Delinquent Tar Adjustment Board of Indian.
River County, Florida, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of the 1935
18 gislature.
On motion made, seconded and unanimously earried, J. J. P. Hamilton# was elected
Chairman of such Board.
Under the provisions of law the Clerk Circuit Court and Clerk to this Board is
named Secretary of said Board.
The said.Board after having fully discussed the tax problems and having fully
advised among the several members thereof, the said Board (or such part thereof, as
have authority) ordered that the County Tax be adjusted on a basis of 50 of the ori-
ginal tax so assessed for the next 90 dors, and to remit all County interest collect-
ible, and that the tax be collected for .distribution among the following funds:
General Revenue :fund
General school bund
Road. & Bridge Fund
school District Maintenance fund
It was further ordered that permission be given and granted to redeem property
under the ,acts of the 1933 Legislature by the payment of 1931 taxes and prior years
with bonds, and the 1932 and 1933 taxes be collected in cash, with the provisions that
all 1934 taxes must be paid in regular order to the Tax Collector in order to obtain
the adjustments herein granted. Exch basis of settlement granted to all tax -payers
as a matter of right and justice.
There being no further business the Board the adjourned.
