which said resolution upon being put to a vote was unanimously adopted.
The several bills and accounts against the county, having been audited, were examined and
found correct, were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. Such bilis
and accounts being on file in the office of 'the cleric circuit court. ite warrants so issued
from the respective funds being listed in the supplemental minute book as required by the rales
and practice of the State Auditing deprartment, reference to said record and the list so records(
being made a, part of these minutes.
The county Depository filed its monthly statement showing receipts and disbursements os
the varkous funds, which having been audited, was found to be correct.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the board then
adjourned until we dnesday, October 14th 1936.

The hoard of county ummnissioners of Indian giver county, Florida, met -at the Court house
in Vero beach, at 10:00 o'clock A. M.. vtednesday, Gctober 14th 1936,_ in adjourned meeting with
the following members of the board present: J.J.r.mmilton, uhaixman; Frank C. Vickers; R.E.
Xudge; E. P. Poole and Edwin A. Helseth., also present were Wm Frick, xeriff; James T.Vocelle,
Attorney and ni le s Warren, ul erk.
it was ordered that Mrs Frances Sloan, Wab€asso, be stricken from the pauper list, as she
is now working.
It vms ordered that the allowance made to x.B.Porter, Vero Beach, be increased to 012.00
per month from the pauper fund, until the further orders of the Board.
The application for liquor license of John Brniz and Anne Sekeras again came before the
Board, and after discussing the seine, it was moved, seconded :and carried that action -be defe
until a later date.
As provided by law the .hoard then proceeded to revised the Registration Books of the C
and: the following names were stricken from the registration books for the reason set opposite
each namep, to -wit:

It was further ordered that the Clerk of this Board prepare the ballots for the General
Election and was instructed to have printed thereon all names of candidates certified by the
Secretary of State, and all candidates certified by the County Canvassing Board of the Democ-
rutic party for County and District offices. It was further -,o, red that the names of nominees
for Mosquito Control District, as well as all Constitutional -amendments certified by the
Secretary of State be printed thereon, as well as blank spaces where no nominee has been
selected for an office.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board adjourned
to meet on Wednesday November 4th 1936 unless sooner called in session by t).e Chairman.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16th 1936.
The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met in special
session, on call of the Chairman, at 2:00 o'clock P. M. Friday, October 16th 19369 with the
following members of the Board present: J.J.P.Hamilton, Chaim; E. P. Poole and Edwin A.
Helseth. Also present was Aviles VarrFan, Clerk of the Board. - .
The Chairman announced the special meeting was called, in compliance with law, to fur -
then consider the application of John Srnik and Anne Sekeras for a license to sell alcoholic
and intoxicating liquors.
A telegram and also letter was received and read from the First National Bank of Ottawa,
Illinois, advising that John Srnik was of good character and standing in that community when
he lived there, and the Board having thoroughly discussed the matter, approved the application
of said John Srnik and Anne Sekeras, and the Clerk was instructed to transmit the same to the
Tax Collector of Indian liver County.
RESOLUTION.
The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Helseth and was unanumously
adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida+., in
special session assembled this 16th day of October, 1936, that this Board hereby eleeteat to
invoke and does hereby accept and adopt the provisions of Paragraph (d) of House Bill #30,
approved May
27th 19339
and
does hereby determine that
it is for
.the best interest of Indian
River County
to use any
and
all moneys derived from the
gasoline'tax
and now or hereafter cre-
dited to the account of this County or Road and Bridge Districts therein, for the purpose of
purchasing at a price below the par value thereof and at the lowest acceptable offer subject
to the specific limitations hereinafter prescribed, any road and bride bond or bonds of such
County or Special District, and the exclusive use of such funds by the State Board of Adminis-

tration for the purchase of such County and District Bang or Bridge bonds to which such moneys
as credited to this County would be applicable, is hereby sanctioned and approved, and the
State Board of Administration is hereby authorized and requested, until further notice, to use
such funds exclusively for the purchase of such bonds in open market traflsactions in accord-
ance with the general provisions of the 1933 Act, afid subject to the following limitations as
specifically provided in Paragraph (g) thereof;
Price to be paid shall not exceed 55 flat for all bonds. In the event bid is submitted
for more than 55 flat notify Board of County Commissioners and additional resolutions will be
