Be It resolved that the Board of County Commissioners for Indian River County,
Florida does herewith extend its thanks -€end appreciation to Thr Herman for his cooperation
and assistance as aforesaid and does express its regret on his being transferred to other
projects at this time.
Be it further resolved that a certified copy of this resolution be fomarded to fir.
He rrman and a certified copy thereof be forrded to Honorable James E. Cottoforwarded Acting
Director, Public Works .Administration for Florida.
The motion for the adoption of the resolution being duly seconded it vias declared
adopted upon the following vote: Ayes: Mudge, Helseth, Poole, Glover and Vickers.
Nays: Done.

adjourned session at the hour of 10,. 00 o'clock A* fid, Anuary 37, 1937 in the Court House in

Comm issioftr Poole introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption,
'tereas, Indian River County, Florida, by Its Board of County Casu4seioners did,
under date of February 17, 19136, eater into a contract with Bm, Rejuslok of Vere Beach, Florida
for the construction of a tw* story fireproof County Court House at azd for the num of
865,1506009 being PWA project No,, 4020 R; and
Whereas, the oontraotor is about to couplete the said aODmtrAaot; and
whereas, the lease On the present quartos for the temporary Court House of said
County has expired; and
whereas, it in the desire of the Board Of County Qo ;isaioners to nerve into the
newly constructed Court House at the earliest possible moment owing to the expiration or its
lease and the danger or fire to its records in the present buildg; axed
whereas, the County has sufficient furniture and equipment to occupy the new
Court House buildixlg; therefare,
Be It Resolved by the Board of County Ca szloners or Indian River County that
request be, and the same i+s, herpby made of the Public Works Adan stratlan for permission to
move into the newly constructed Court House ismaediately upon Its acceptance ;from the con-
tractor by the County,

Coomissioner Viakers offered the following resolution and moved its adoptlon, to-wi
V20"Oes Indian River County, Plorifa, by its Board of County Commissioners did,
under date of February 1710 1936, enter into a oontraot with Wa. ZeUsick of Vero 9eaach, Florida
for the construction of a two story fireproof Court House for said County at and tar the sum
of $653,1506003, the a=e being PWA project No. 4020 RS and
ftereas, the plans and specifications for said Court House and the said contract
Its construction do not include the . furnishing and constructing of 9 stand and platform for
Tudge, Qlark, and witnesses* and Tury box and railing in the Court room; and
and
Whereras, there are no additional funds available from the PWA for such construction
Whereas, in order to properly utilise said Court room it Is necessary that the e
described facilities be furnished; and
Whereas, the Board of County Comissioners of Indian River County has obtained f ream
iia. Hensiok, the contractor on sad Court House, a bid gmr furnishing the material and in-
sta2:in9 the said above desoribed equipment, which said bid is in words and figures as follows:

Dommissioaer Eo P, Poole was instructed to advise Drank 4* U19bt, Road Super-
iatendent as to the proper grading of the new Covert House grounds,
Notion was made by Be P. Poole, ended by S. Be Mover and oared that the Bcarrd
accept a change in pattern and color of the wainsooating in*the new court house building from
".Tauae neuri" to *Brecke Rose".
It was cr=dered that Mrs. Way Barker be reinstated on the pappers• list and to
receive the sun of WoDO each mouth until further notice.
It was moved by Commissioner Mover and seconded by Frank C, Vickers and unmiously
carried that the Bird publish its minutes, at a cost not to exceed $5-00 per mouth, in the
Fero Beach Press -Journal.
After general discussion, Douglas Bir, Cleft was instructed to advise Mrs
Iene who has had charge of the county Canning Equipment to call in all of the equipment that
Is loaned out at the present time and do not loan any mora of the Bald equipment until further
notice, Also that Mrs lane retain the monies that she now bms in bar possession untill
such time as final settlement is made,
Mr H. Deal, representing the Farm Credit Administration, appeared before the
Board with reference to s County Demonstration agent for Indian River County. No Action
Wqa taken b9 the Board,
Mr H. G. Deppen, Engineer, prepared for the Board application for wPA project
for repair and paging roads, construction shoulders and ditchea, installing paved galvanized
iron culverts etc.,and the proposal was sent in to the proper authorities.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board
