The several bills against the County were examined, audited and found correct, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The amount: so drawn from the respective funds is as follows: GENERAL REVENUE FUND:. $5539.36 FINE & FORFEITURE FUND 722.84 Road and Bridge 2666.79 Mothers' Pension Fund 158.00 Interest & Sinking Fund1201.65 The County Depositories of the County filed their monthly statement showing the balance on hand in the respective funds of the County. Clerk. and carried the ZY/ICheirmma// TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1st 1925 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.`t'uesday December lst 1925. The following members of the Board were present: John H Atkin, Chairman; G.A.13raddock; J.W.LaBruce; Donald Forbes and 0.O•.Relseth.• Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and J.W.Knight, Sheriff. The Minuts of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Deputy Sheriff bond of noy F. Preston land and R.J.Dunnam as sureties was approved. The Notary Public Bond of Robert Evans in in the sum of 01,000.00 with J.H.Suther- the sum of 0500.00 with the American Surety Company of Bew York, a corporation, xxas surety was approved. The County Engineer presented report of work done for private parties and checks collected as follows: which was ordered placed E.J.Wood 433.50 11.0.Cox 4.20 Moran Co 62.90 C.H.Pettibone38.10 Fellsmere Co400.90 Total $539.60 in the Road and Bridge r`und. The County Judge filed his report of Real Estate License issued showing 0970.00 collected for the State; 4194.00 for the real Estate Board and $490.00 collected for the County. The County Attorney was instructed to get what information could be obtained from St. Lucie County relative to the'right-of-way over the Ruffner land and advise B.A. Meginnis, attorney for the State Road Department. un motion duly made, seconded and carried the following resolution passed by the City County of Vero Beach was approved and adopted: 'On motion duly made, seconded aril carried the City of Vero Beach hereby requests and authorizes the Indian River county Commissioners to maintain and repair a 1 streets and roads within the City which were formerly County roads before the extensio of the City limits in May 1925. The cost of the material and labor to be paid by the City of Vero Beach and deducted from the road taxes for 1925" The Deputy Sheriff ]fond of R.WI.Knight in the sum of 01,000.00 with J .D.Edwards an J.N.Wilks as sureties was approved. The several Banks of the County having filed application to be named County Depos tory for the year 1926 the following designations were made: FARMERS BANK & TRUST CO. VERO BEACH, FLORIDA. Special- R & .i Dist #4, Proceeds of sale of .Bonds. VERO BEACH BANK & TRUST CO. VERO BEACH, FLORIDA. Interest & Sinking Fund Spec R & b Dist #4 (Interest & Sinking fund) Bond being set in the sum of 010,000.00 for such accounts. BANK OF SEBASTIAN, SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA. Mothers Pension :Fund Publicity Fund Spec R & R Diet 1'o.1 (Int.& Sink.) Bond being set in the sum of $10,000.00 for such accounts. FT. PIERCE BANK & TRUST CO. FT. PIERCE, FLORIDA.. Special R & H Dist #4 (Bond account) Bond being set in the sum of 050,000.00 for such accounts. It was ordered that the County Engineer prepare plans and specifications for Road in the boundary of Special Road and Bridge District No. 4 and advertise for bids to be received at 2 Y.M. Tuesday, January 5th 1926 for the construction of the roads accord- ing to such plans and specifications on file in his office. It was ordered that the County Engineer prepare advertisement for equipment to build any and all roads designated in Special Road & Bridge gist. Bo. 4 by its own force, in the event a satisfactory bid for such road building is not received. Such notice calling for bids to be received at 2 P.M.'Tuesday, January 5th 1926.- A Committee composed of Geo T.Tippin, Chairman, Chas B.Jennings and L.H.Vinnedge appeared before the Board with respect to the proposed exhibit at the 'South Florida Fair to be held in Tampa in February. It vas ordered that financial arraiggements be made to put on a first class exhib t at the South Florida Fair and the Chairman, and,Glerk be authorized to arrainge the cost and expense of such preparation and transportation and other expenses incident thereto. Such cost to be paid out of the i'ublicity Fund when available, and not to exceed §2,000.00 The Sheriff having appeared before the Board and advised there was no facilities to keep in custody B.F.wright; John Montford and Frank S. Barnstead, prisoners held by Indian .river County; It was ordered on motion made, Seconded and carried that the Sheriff deliver such prisoners to the Sheriff of St. Lucie County for safe keeping in the common County Jail of said County on behalf of Indian River County and the Sheriff of St Lucie County is hereby requested to receive and incarcerate such prisoners to be released only on the orders and instructions of the Sheriff of IndianRiver County. ii The several bills against the County were examined, having been audited and were found correct, and warrants issued in settlement of same. TUESDAY, JANUARY 5th, 1926. The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, on Tuesday January 5th 1926 at 10 o'olook 4.M. with the following members of the Board present: John H. Atkin, Chairman, G. A. Braddook; J. W. iaBruoe; Donald Forbes and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and J. W. Knight, Sheriff. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The County Judge filed his report of real estate license collected showing $855.00 for the State, $171.00 for the Real Estate Board and $427.50 collected for the County. A communication having been received from Okeechobee County offering $10.00, per month for all county prisoners, it was ordered that all prisoners of Indian River County be leased to Okeeohobee County on such basis. The Deputy Sheriff bond o3 Elliott Bray in'the sum of $1,000.00 with R. J. Dunham and G. F. Green as sureties was approved. The Notary Biblio bond of G. R. Olmstead in the sum of $500.00 with the American Surety Company, a corporation of New York, as surety was approved. The Notary Public bond of Helene Gude in the sum of #00,00 with the American Surety Company, a corporation of New York as surety was approved. David Waugh of 425 Wood Street St. Petersburg, Florida, filed a bill with the County for repairs to Cadillac automobile in which he alleged the damage was caused by County Road Truck.
