Glared adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Poole, Glover, Helseth, Michael and Vickers.
RAYS: None.
There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried by Board then
adjourned until the regular meeting to be held in duly, which shall be he first Monday in
July as provided by law."

The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in,the Office of the
Clerk of.the Circuit Court at Vero Beach,, in the County of Indian River, on this the 4th.. Day
of duly, 1938, and the following County Commissioners were present; E. P. Poole, Cbairman;
Frank C. Vickers and Edwin -A. Helseth, Absents C. S. Michael and S. E. Glover. Also present
were Nm. Frick, Sheriff, Charles A. Mitchell., Attorney to the Board and Doug las Baker, Clerk.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court having prepared estimates of the revenue and receipts

from sources other than from taxes to be levied, reasonably to be expected from the first day
of October 1938 to the 30th day of September 1939, the said estimates having been properly
verified
under
oath were ordered spread upon the minutes of the
Board and

The Tax Assessor having presented his books showing the assessed valuation of proper-
ty -for examination by the Board in compliance with the requirements of Section 934 of the com
piled laws of Florida, and the Board of County Commissioners having given notice of fifteen days
by publication in the Vero Beach -Press Journal, -a newspaper -published in Aero Beach, in the
County of Indian River, that the Board would meet on this day as a Board of Equalizers for the
purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the value of any property real,
personal or mixed,
as fixed by the

The Board of County Commissioners of Indtn River- County met in the office of the Clerk
of The Circuit Court, in the County of Indian River, on this the 5th., day of July, 1938, at

Sheriff, Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney for the Board, and Douglas Baker, Clerk.
Commissioner Helseth stated to the Board that he had sent in his resignation -hs mem-
ber of the Board of County Commissioners to Lion. Fred P. Cone, Governor and presented a wire
from the Governor accepting his'resignation as of July 5th., 1938 and said wire was ordered
filed with the Clerk and made a part of these minutes.
