Board. . of .County Commissioners .for the Count of Indian River, State of Florida, was held at 9x.30 A..M.-on.the.30th.day of September, 1938. The Meeting was called to order by the Chairman and.upon roll call the following answered presents R. F. Poole, Elbert Clover, Claude Michael. The following were absent= Frank C. Vickers and pert 4. Relseth. 4.copy of the list of qualified electors who are freeholders residing in Special Tac School District No. 11 in Indian River County, Floridan and entitled to vote in the election held in said District on September 27, 193& was filed and preserved among the r of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board then proceeded to canvass the election returns of an election, in Special Tax School District leo., 11 of Indian River County, Florida upon the issuance of Seventy three thousand 073,400.00) Dollars of bonds of said District held on the 27th daffy of I, September, 1938. The following Resolution was introduced by Commissioner Mover and read in fins WHERZAS9 a copy of the list of the qualified electors who are freeholders residing in Special Tax School District No. 11 of Indian river County, State of Florida, as determined by the Supervisor of Registration of Rlectors of the County of Indian diver, State of Florida, and certified to by said registration officer, shows that there are 646 qualified electors who are freeholders residing in said District, and WHEREAS, the votes cast at said election have been returned, tallied and canvassed, and the total number of votes cast in the election. in Special Tax School District No. 11 of Indian River County, Florida, on September 279.14381, by the qualified electors who are free- holders residing in such District and entitled to participate in such election, was 458; and THERW,j the total number of votes cast for bonds was 438, and the total number of votes cast against bonds was 1.9. One ballot was spoiled and, could not be counted. NOW9 THERE, Be It resolved by The Board of County Commissioners for the County of Indian River, State of Florida, that having canvassed said election returns, in accordance with Chapter 147159 Acts of 1931, Session of the Legislature, Laws of Florida, it is de- termined that the total number of qualified electors who are freeholders residing in said District and who are qualified to vote in said election was 646, and the total number of votes cast at said election by said qualified electors, was 4589 and the total number of votes for bonds was 438, and the total number of votes against: bonds was 19, sad one ballot was spoiled and could not be counted, and that said election was in favor of bonds, and this Board does hereby certify that the result of said election was in favor of bonds. Commissioner Glover moved that said Resolution be adopted as rend. Commissioner° Michael seconded the motion. Upon roll call the following vote was polleds Ayest Commissioners Poole, Clover and Michael. Nays: Mone. Thereupon the Chairman declared the Motion passed and said Resolution duly adopted. A: copy of the list of qualified electors who are freeholders residing in Special. Tax School District No. 79 in Indian diver County, Florida and entitled to vote in the election held in_-said.District on September 27, 1938 was filed and preserved among the records of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board then proceeded to canvass the election returns of an election in Special Tax School District No. 7 of Indian River County, Floridan upon the issuance of Bight Thousand Five Hundred ($8,500.00)Dollars of bonds of said District held on the 27th day of September, 1938. The following. Resolution was.introduced.by Commissioner Glover amd.read in Rills WHERM, a copy of the list of the qualified electors who are freeholders residing in Special Tax School District No. 7 of Indian River County, State of Florida,, as determined by the Supervisor of Registration of Electors of the County of Indian River, :Mate of Florida, and certified to by said Registration officer, shows that there are 95 qualified electors who are freeholders residing: in said District, and $, the votes cast at said election have been returned, tallied and canvassed, and the total number of votes cast in the election in Special Tax School District No. 7 of Indian Fiver County, Florida:, on September 27, 1938, by the qualified electors who are free- holders residing in such District and entitled to participate in such election was 61; and WHEE, the total number of votes cast for bonds was 52, and the total number of votes cast against bonds was 9. NOT, THERE, Be it resolved by The Board of County Commissioners for the County of Indian River, State of Florida., that having canvassed said election returns, in atccordame with Chapter 14715, Acts of 1931, Session of the Legislature, maws of, Florida, it is de- termined that the total number of qualified electors who are freeholders residing in said District and who are qualified to vote in said election was 95, and the total number of votes cast, at said election by said qualified electors, was 61, and the total number of votes for bonds was 529 and the total number of votes against bonds was 9, and that said election was in favor of bonds, and. this Board does hereby certify that the result of said election was in favor-- of bonds. Commissioner Glover moved - that said resolution .be adopted_ as. read. Commissioner Michael seconded the motion. Upon roll call the following vote- was polledt est Commissioners Poole, Glover and Michael Nays None. Thereupon the Chairman declared the Motion passed and said Resolution adopted! Commissioner Glover moved the meeting adjourned. Commissioner Michael seconded the motion. Upon roll call the following vote was polled: Ayes: Commissioners Poole, Glover and Miahael. Nays: None.
