WIDNEgDAY, OCTOBER 12th., 1938. .
The Board of,County Commissioners of Indian River County,met at the Court House in
Vero Beach, at _.9;30 Otolock A. M. Wednesday, October 12th., 1938, in adjourned meeting with
the following members of the Board present; E. P. Poole, Chairman; C. S. Michael; S. E. Glover
and Albert O. Helseth.. Absent was Frank C. Vickers. Also present were William Frick, Sheriff;,
Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney for the Board and Douglas Baker, Clerk.
The County Assessor of taxes,' W. R. Duncan, appeared before the Board and presented
the tax rolls for the year 1938 on real and personal property and also intangible tax roll,whi
were carefully examined and found correct and on -motion made by S. E. Glover, seconded by Albe
0. Helseth and carried were approved, and the warrant to each of said rolls were annexed theretc
and is in words and figures following:
THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
To Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River:
You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate and personal property, and
from each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed roll, the taxes set down in each
roll opposite each name, corporation or parcel of land therein described, and in case taxes so
imposed are not paid at the time prescribed, by law, you are to collect the same by levy and
sale of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements so assessed, or of the person or corporati
so taxed; and all sums collected for the State..taxes you are to pay to the State Treasurer at
such time as may be required by law, and at the same time you are to pay to the legally quali-
fied Depository all sums collected for County taxes, district school taxes and other special.
taxes; and you are further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in
April; and on or before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement
with the Comptroller and County Commissioners.

As provided by law the Board then proceeded to revise the registration books of the
County as follows, to -wit:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
.Florida have met as provided bylaw and examined and revised the registration books of said
County and have erased therefrom the names of all such as have died or removed from the County
or from one District to another in the County or who are otherwise disqualified to vote and that
a list of the names that have been erased or taken..from the -registration books of each bistrict
In said County, either by the Supervisor of Registration or said Board of County Commissioners

that ballots be prepared for the Election of two Commissioners of Indian River Farms Fire
Control District.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board i
then adjourned.
