After careful consideration and disoussiou.it was moved by W* C.,Gra®es., Jr., second
ed by 3. E. Glover, and unanimously carried that all bids be rejected because the same arettoo
high and the County Commissioners do not feel justified in accepting any of the present bids'
without attempting to secure a lower bid, if possible,.by again advertising for bids in order
to ascertain if it is passible to secure a lower bid tha#� those presented at this meeting.
It was moved by Frank 0. Vickers, seconded by We C. Graves, Jr., and unanimously
carried that the.Helseth Motor Company be requested to imediately submit its bill -for conal
ation by the County Commissioners as to all charges for wafter service, towing`aud "storage
charges on the County's wrecked pick-up truck and all charges to date for use of Ford pick-up
truck used by County Road Superintendant and that said wrecked pink-up_truok owned -by the
County beimmediately moved to the County barn.

Frank C; Vickers and uhanimously carried that the Board*aooept the bid of Clewiston Motor Co.

A petition signed by Pastors; Minsters and citizens of the community of Gifford,
Florida was received protesting the operation of the Bar and Beer Gardend'in South Gifford on
Sundays, the Board advised the interested parties that they had authority as to approving
permits to sell whiskey, but not on beer or wines, but would be glad to cooperate in every way
possible. °
