The several bills and accounta against the County, having been audited were examined and found.correct, were approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk Circuit Court. The warrants so issued from the respective funds being listed in the supplemental minute book as provided by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes. The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements of the various funds which having been audited was found to be correct. ed. On motion -made by Frank C. Vickers, -seconded by Albert 0. Helseth and carried the following resolution was adopted. WHEREAS, St..Luoie County, Florida, did prior to June 17, 19249 occupy and own a portion of Sub -lots 32 and 33 -.in Subdivision number.l of East View Company as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book:4..at page.l., records of St.,Luoie.County, Florida, and as said Subdivisi number l was exhibited as a part of plat recorded in Plat Book.4 at page 31, records of.St. Lucie County, Florida, and prior to dune 17, 1924' said property was used for public road pur- poses; and E WHEREAS, under date of --dune 17, .1924, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, did officially vacate certain highways, including all public highways and roads over or traversing property.situated in what was then -St. Lucie County and is now Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: All that part of Lots 32..and 33 is Blook l lying East of the public road as shown on plats of Riomar Subdivision as.filed and recorded in Plat Book 2 at pages 18 and 27 of the re- cords of Indian River County, Florida, and being now_,designated on.said.plats of Riomar Sub- division as Lot 33 in Block 1 thereof. Glover and unanimously carried that an item in the .sum. of $3.00.00 be, included, in. the 194:1A-4942. Budget for. State. Welfare Work. At the request of B.. _L.._201man the Board granted -the use of the County Tractor and Grader for the purpose.of preparing,a road grade from U. S. #1 into the Air Port grounds, .provided the City of Vero Beach would furnish fuel and pay for the labor. Hon. George T. Tippin appeared before the Board and requested the sum of $200.00 be placed in the 1941-1942 Budget for the purpose of County fair exhibits to be held at Tampa and Orlando. No action was taken by the Board at this time. City Councilman C. E. Cox, in behalf of the City -of Vero Beach and Indian River County appeared before the Board requesting an appropriation in the sum of $250.00 to $400.00 be placed in the 1941-1942 Budget for the purpose of assisting financially in the preparation and construction of the plifiposed Athletic Center. No action was taken at this time, however, Jr. a committee composed of C. S. Michael,. W. 8% Graves/ id Albert 0. Helseth was appointed to meei with the City Council at a meeting to be held on July 24 for -further discussion in the matter and also for consideration and discussion as-to.tuture .City and County Welfare appro- priations. It was moved by Frank C..Vickers.-seconded.by Albert 0. Helseth and carried and Attorney Mitchell instructed to prepare notice of sale of bonds aggregating $20,000.00 which were accepted in payment of delinquent taxes. Proposals to be received to the hour of 10:00 O'clock A. M. Tuesday August 5, 19419 at the office of the -Clerk of the Circuit Court. Complying with Chapter 19377 (No. 382) Senate Bill 771 it was moved by Frank C. �- Vickers, seconded by S. E. Glover and unanimously carried that -the Board appoint M. H. 'WHEREAS, the _City of -Vero .Beach •inIndian River County, Florida, has acquired and property situated in Indian River County, Florida, described as follows, to -wit: All that part of the-NWJ of the NWJ of Section 12, Township 33'South, Range 39 Bast which lies east of Dixie Avenue and south.of Fifteenth,Ztreet and west -of the F. L. C. Ry. right of way. The streets being as shown on Higb-land Park Subdivision Plat No. 3 as recorded on 3-24-270 page 4 of Plat Book 2.
