The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach at 10:00 otclook A. M. Monday, March 23rd, 1942, in special meeting with the following members of the Board present: C. S. Michael, Chairman, S. E. Glover and Frank C. Vickers.. Absent, Albert 0. Helseth.and W. C. Graves.Jr. Also present were Chas. A. Mit- chell, Attorney for the Board and Douglas Baker, Clerk. The chairman announced'this meeting was held for the purpose of approving Notary Public Bond and such other business as might be properly brought before this Board. Notary Public Bond in3'thesum of $500.00 for G. S. Huff with the American Surety C pany of New York as surety was approved. The being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board then adjourned. M. Tuesday, April 7th, 1942, in regular meeting with the following members of the Board present: C. S. Michael, Chairman; S. E. Glover, Albert 0. Helseth, Frank C. Vickers and W. C. Graves, Jr. Also present were 'Wm. W. Frick, Sheriff, Chas. A. Mitchell, Attorney for the Board, Miss Leila M. Bunkley, County Nurse, E. E. Carter, Road Superintendent, Mr. W. 0. Gentry, State Auditor, and Douglas Baker, Clerk. The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. The Clerk advised that $37.00 in qualifying fees of candidates in the primary elect- ion to be held May 5th had been reeeived and placed in the General Revenue Fund.
