M* Tuesday, May 4, 19439 in -regular meeting with the following members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Zr.,, Chairman; Albert 0, Helseth, S, E. Glover, G. B. Barkoskie and Frank C.'Viokers. Also present were Charles A. Kitchell, Attorneys �i to the Board, Wk. W. Frick, Sheriff and Douglas Baker, Clerk. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Pursuant to requests for bids on'Workman's Compensation Insurance and Public Lia- bility and ]Property Damage Insurance on county trucks, the following bids were received Name of Agent Type of Insurance Amount Joe S. Barman, Agent P.L. & P.D. 10/20 & $000 96.32 F. W. Rodenberg, Agent P.L. & P.D. 10/20 & 5000 98.24 Buckingham --Wheeler Agency P.L. & P.D. 14%20 & 5000 106.24 Admitted to local hospital (Medical) 1 Admitted F.C.C.C. Orlando (Surgical) 0n motion made by Commissioner Glover, seconded by Commissioner Barkoskie and unanimously carried the Insurance was awarded to Joe S, Barman, Agent, he being the lowest bidder. 16 Others 4 Bids were submitted on Workman's Compensation Insurance by the following agents; Charles A. Buster, F. W. Rodenberg, doe S. Earma* and Buokingham-wheeler Agency. It was stated the Florida Workman's Compensation Rating Bureau promulgates the rates for all .Work - man's Compensation Insurance written in the State of Florida. In view of this fact, on motion made by Commissioner Helseth, seconded by Commissioner Glover and unanimously carried it was ordered the Workman's Compensation Insurance be renewed with the Kuster Insurance .Agency, who had written this insurance for the past several years. It was further ordered that Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance be placed on the Motor Patrol and limits of liability be the same as on the trucks.. a. Notary Public bond for John W. B. A letter was received from the Florida State Board of Health with regard to the importance of continuing the Venerial Disease control campaig� in Indian River County* Douglas Barer, Clerk, . vas instructed to write the Florida State Hoard of Health and to the Ron. Mayor of the City of Vero Beach, requesting representatives to `meet with the Board at their next regular meeting to be held Zune 1, 1943, It was ordered.the the contract with Uo S. Coast Guard be renewed. The several bills and accounts against the County having been audited, were examined and Found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts beim on. file in the office of the .Clerk of the Circuit Court. The warrants so issued from tate respective funds, being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, ass. provided by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes. ' I The County depo=sitory filed its monthly statement,,show ng receipts and disburse- ments of the various funds, which having been audited was found to be correct. M. Tuesday, June 1, 19439 in regular meeting with the following members of the Board present; S. E. Glover, G. E. Barkoskie and Frank C. Vickers. Also present were C. P. Diamond, Acting Attorney to the Board, Wm. W. Frick, Sheriff and Douglas Baker, Clerk. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
