The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at
the Court House on Tuesday, August 3rd 1926 at 10 o'clock A.M. with the following members
of the Board. present: John H. Atkin, Chairman; J.W.LaBruoe and Donald Forbes. Also pre-
sent was Miles Warren, Clerk by Deputy and J.W.Knight, Sheriff.
The several bills against the County having been audited, were examined and found
correct were approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The bills of
such accounts being on file in the Clerk's office and made a part of these minutes.
The County Depositories filed their monthly statements showing balance on hand,
receipts, warrants paid and balance on hand at the close of the month, which were found
to be correct.
The Board then adjourned until Tuesday .August 10th, 1926 for the transaction of all
regular business.

the Court House at Vero Beach, on Tuesday August 10th, 1926 at tic o'clock B.M.with the
following members of the Board prevent: Tohn H. Atkin, Chairman, G.A.B raddo ok; J.W.
LaBruce; and Donald Forbes. Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk and J.V).Knight,
She.
It was moved by Commissioner Forbes and seconded by Commissioner LaBruoe that
Special Road ,& Bridge District No. 4, purchase Five Indiana Tracks at a price of
$1600.00 each to bepaid for at the rate of One truck each month. The purchase to be
made from the Indiana Truck Corporation of West Palm Beach, Florida.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board
adjourned until the regular meeting in September 1926.
