Vickers and unanimously carried, the foregoing bids were accepted with the understanding that the freight would be added to and made a part of the said bids at such time as the correct' amount could be determined. There being no further business, on motion made, seconded, and carried, the Board then adjourned. '{- "` I 16 22 2 'd i,1194G s M Business Manager Sworn to and subscribed before me, this .2 194 194 4 day of Clerk Circuit Court, Indian River County, Florida Pursuant to the foregoing "Notice" the County Assessor of Taxes' submitted the County Tax Assessment Roll for the' year 1945 to the Board of County Commissioners sitting as a Board of equalization and which Roll had the approval of the State Comptroller, endorsed thereon. The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner R. W. Graves who moved its adoption as follows to -wit: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the County Assessor of taxes has completed his Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1945 and has presented the same to this Board on this day as provided by law; and, WHEREAS, due notice has been given by publication in the Vero Beach Press Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian River County, Florida, at least 15 days before this d ate that this board will be in session for the purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the value of any property as fixed and assessed by the County Assesf- sor of Taxes and as will more fully appear by proof of publication of such notice filed with the minutes of this meeting; and, WHEREAS, this board has met this day and has heard any complaints and has received any testimony offered as aforesaid and has not deemed it necessary to make any increase in any values fixed by the County Assessor of Taxes as to any property on said tax roll and has given full consideration -to all matters pertaining to the same and has equalized the same; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Flor • does herewith determine that said tax roll as presented by the County Assessor of taxes is per- fected, reviewed and equalized and that the same is herewith approved and confirmed. The motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Vickers and unanimously adopted. The Clerk of the Circuit Court having prepared estimates of the revenues and receipts, from sources other than from taxes to be levied, reasonably to be expected from the first day of October 1945 to the 30th day of September 1946, the said estimates having been property vert fied under oath were ordered spread upon the minutes of the Board and the original to be filed as part of the records of the Board, and is in words and figures as follows:- GENERAL REVENUE FUND. M. Tuesday, July 3, 1945, in regular meeting with the follow. ing members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Frank C. Vickers, Albert 0. Helseth, S. E. Glover and R."T Graves. Also present were L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff, E. E. Carter, County Engineer, C. P. Diamond, of the Firm of Mitchell, Smith and Mitchell, Atty. and Douglas Baker, Clerk. The Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
