unanimously adopted.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court having prepared estimates of the revenues and receipts,
from sources other than from taxes to be levied, reasonably to be expected from the first day
of October 1945 to the 30th day of September 1946, the said estimates having been property vert
fied under oath were ordered spread upon the minutes of the Board and the original to be filed
as part of the records of the Board, and is in words and figures as follows:-

The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House in
Vero Beach, at 10:00 o'clock, A. M. Tuesday, July 3, 1945, in regular meeting with the follow.
ing members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Frank C. Vickers, Albert 0.
Helseth, S. E. Glover and R."T Graves. Also present were L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff, E. E. Carter,
County Engineer, C. P. Diamond, of the Firm of Mitchell, Smith and Mitchell, Atty. and Douglas
Baker, Clerk.
The Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.

,The tax books being ready to be returned to the Tax Assessor for the purpose of ex-
tending the taxes thereon as provided by the law the Board of County Commissioners took up the
matter of -making an estimate of the necessary expenses for the fiscal year from October lst,
1945,to tie 30th day of September, 1946, and having considered the receipts estimated by the
Clerk and 'the Tax Assessor having given fully consideration to the needs and necessities of
the County and the requirements for the different purposes to meet the expenses during the
said fiscal year, have determined and do hereby declare the following to be the expenses and
all speciaCl and extra -ordinary expenses contemplated for the fiscal year next ensuing and for
which the -revenue for the year 1945 from ad valorem taxation and the estimated receipts from
other sources will be available.

It was thereupon resolved that the Clerk of the Circuit Court be directed to have the
foregoing estimates as made by the Board published in a newspaper in this County by twoinser-
tions and' that a copy thereof, properly certified, be forwarded to the Comptroller of the State,'
of Florida.
Deputy Sheriff Bond for Elton J. Yates in the sum of $1,000.00 with U. S. Fidelity
and Quarantee Company as surety was approved.

of the Vero Beach Press -Journal was granted.
County Deed Numbers 125 and, 138 Inc. on County Lands acquired for Delinquent
Taxes under Chapter 194, Florida Statutes 1941, was signed by members of the Board.
It is ordered a Warrant in the sum of $30.00 be issued on the General Revenue Fund to

Elton J. Yates was appointed Deputy Sheriff by Sheriff L. B. O'Steen and the said
Elton Yates #esides at Fellsmere, Florida and vote precinct Number 8, Indian River County,
Florida. Douglas Baker, Clerk, announced that said appointment had been filed with him.
Honorable Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector, appeared before the Board and submitted a
