I; The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the Office of the Clerk -of the Circuit Court at Vero Beach, in the County of Indian River, on this 1st day of i� I' July, 1946, and the following County Commissioners were present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chariman; B_EYev&r_and R. W. Graves. Absent: Albert 0. Selseth and Frank C. Vickers. Also present were Marshall 0. Mitchell of the firm of Mitchell, Smith and Mitchell, Attorneys; and Douglas Baker, Clerk. Affidavit of Publication COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER STATE OF FLORIDA ss. Personally before me, the undersigned, an officer authorized under the laws of said State to administer oaths, came J. J. Schumann, business manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, it newspaper published in Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida, who, being first duly sworn, says that the Vero Beach Press - Journal is a newspaper which has been continuously published at least once a week, and which has been entered as second class mail matter, in Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida, for a period of more than one year next preceding the first insertion of this publication; that the advertisement. a copy of which is hereto attached, was published in the Vero Beach Press -Journal for ________consecutive weeks, as follows, to -wit: NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County Assessor of Taxes of Indian River County, Florida, will meet with the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida at the Clerk's Office in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County, Florida, in the Indian River County Court House at Vero Beach, Florida. at the hour of 10:00 A. M. The following. -resolution was introduced by Commissioner S. E. Glover who moved its adoption as follows to -wit: RESOLUTION WREFTA-B,, the County assessor of taxes has completed his Tax -Assessment Roll for -:the !! year 1946 and has presented the same to this Board on this day as provided by law; and, fiI EREAS, due notice hase:been given: -.by publication in the Vero Beach Press Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian River County, Florida, at least 15 days before this date that this board will be in: session for the purpose of hearing complaints and is receiving testimony as to the value of any property as fixed and assessed by the County Assesa - It or of Taxes and as will more fully appear by proof of publication of such notice filed with the minutes of this meeting; and, WFMTXAS, thig Board has Stet this day and has heard any .complaints and has received 6-m lel 1 1 1 • 1 1 0 D 0 0 1 11 I� any testimony offered as aforesaid and has not deemed it necessary to make any increase in any values fixed by the County Assessor of Taxes as to any property on said tax roll and has given full consideration to all matters pertaining to the same and has equalized the same; therefore,' BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, does herewith determine that said tax roll as presented by the County Assessor of taxes is per- fected, reviewed and equalized and that the same is herewith approved and confirmed. ';,The motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Graves and unanimously adopted. The Clerk of the Circuit Court having prepared estimates of the revenues and receipts from sources other than.trom taxes to be levied, reasonably to be expected from the first day !!of October 1946 to the 30th day of September 1947, the said estimates having been property veri fied under oath were ordered spread upon the minutes of the.Board and the original to be filed as part of the records of the County, and is in words and figures as follows,- r GENERAL REVENUE FUND.
