Smith, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Leona Adair Allen,Deputy-Clerk Present Present Present Present r • • Zs oma .y $OLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT BUDGET '•,,�;�,iyp6.6a(I4ON-ADVALOREM SPECIAL DISTRICT) Chairman O'Bryan convened the Final Budget Hearing for the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD). op �iiqq =4.eALL TO ORDER i 5:20 P.M. • Chairman O'Bryan announced the 2014-2015 proposed charge and budget: (1) $49.96 per Residential Waste Generation Unit ($79.94 per house), a 12.80% increase from the current year; (2) $34.05 per Commercial Waste Generation Unit, a 11.86% increase from the current year; (3) $19.37 Readiness -to -Use Fee, a 2.98% increase from the current year; and (4) $19.06 per ton for Landfill Ash Product Disposal Fee, a 1.33% increase from the current year. He revealed that the proposed total budget is $11,685,228. The Chairman opened the floor to public comments, there were no speakers. There were no proposed changes to the budget. ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved the Non -Ad Valorem assessment rates of $49.96 per Residential Waste Generation Unit; $34.05 per Solid Waste Disposal District September 16, 2014 September 23, 2011 Page 1 Commercial Waste Generation Unit; $19.37 Readiness -to -Use Fee; and $19.06 for Landfill Ash Product Disposal Fee for the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD); and approved Resolution 2014-084, establishing the Assessment Rate to be levied upon all real taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 for the Solid Waste Disposal District. ON MOTION by Commissioner Solari, SECONDED by Commissioner Zorc, the Board unanimously approved the Budget of $11,685,228, and approved Resolution 2014-085, amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 and adopting a final budget for the Solid Waste Disposal District.
