Jimmie Beams' Bill Hague, sad Frank Norman appeared before the Board requesting a report as to the Blue Cypress Lake or Blue Cypress read, Dar. mitchells Attorney for the Boards' reported that abstracts and searches had been completed and that Mr. E. B. Carters County En- �gineer, would furnish description of the land in the very near future at which time deeds would', be prepared and submitted to Dar. Holman for execution. It was moved by Commissioner Glovers seconded by Commissioner Vickers and unanimously carried that the Board authorize the Chairman and Clerk to sign agreements with regard to the foregoing Blue Cypress Lake road to be prepared by Dar. Mitchell. Mr. George S. Dales appeared before the Hoard and requested that right -of way be granted -to* public through an island owned by the Stat and located south of -the east end of • Wabasso bridge. It was mored by Commissioner Vickero s seconded by Commissioner Mar er and ua•� animously carried that this Board would ask the State to grant such right-ofway* Sheriff D. B. O'Steen was authorized to purchase an adding machlue. for his office 4 for the sum of $22 .60 less $25.00 trade in for old machine. M.s Tuesdays April is 1947' in.regular meeting with the following members of the Board presents W. C. aravesq Jr.s Chairman; Frank C. Vickers, HeApling, S. E. Glovers and Albert 0. Helseth. Also present were Charles A. Mitchells ' Attorney; L. B. O'Steent Sheriff; B. E. Carter! County Engineers and Douglas Baker' Clerk-* Honorable J. D.j Helplings County Commissioner from District leo. 2 presented his com- mission evidencing his authority to serve as County Commissioner of Indian River County. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Notary Public 'lend for John W. E. Wheeler in the sum of $500.00 with American Surety Company of New York as surety was approved March 2$9 19479 by Douglas Bakers Clerk Cirouit Cour" as provided by law. County Deeds Numbers 256 to 959 inclusive were signed by the members7of the Board as provided by Chapter 22070 Daws of Florida. The following Was appointed Deputy Sheriff by L. B. O'Steen' Sheriff! and Douglas i'. Bakers Clerks announced that said appointment had been filed with him. j NAME PRECINCT N0.
