1. Request Approval for a Residential Paper Shredding Event and
Request to participate in the Green Market at the IRC Mall on April
2, 2016
(memorandum dated February 29, 2016)
IRC Recycling Education and Marketing Coordinator Stephanie
Fonvielle remarked that shredded paper was not accepted in the
Single Stream Recycling program and showed a news clip from
Lee County on the reasons why shredded paper was not
accepted in the recycling sorting facility. She asked the Board
for their approval to hold and sponsor a Residential Paper
Shredding Event on Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until
1:00 p.m. and would like to do this event in tandem with the
Indian River Green Market Event being held from 10:00 a.m.
until 6:00 p.m. at the Indian River Mall.
Marketing Coordinator Fonvielle announced the Electronics
Collection Event will be held at the Indian River County
Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by
Chairman Solari, the Board unanimously approved and
authorized participating in the 2016 Green Market at the Indian
River Mall with a sponsorship in the amount of $1,500 and
sponsoring a Residential Paper Shredding Event utilizing
Progressive Document Destruction, LLC, in the amount not to
exceed $1,600.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 2:01 p.m.
