Helseth Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption,, to -wits a it A I k X I I S A WHSFUWl The Board of County Commissioners has made and completed the est1mate of its necessary and•ordinary expenses and of all special and extra-ordinary-expentures contemplated as required by lawq and duly advertised the same as required by iaw9 and this W being the first meeting of said Board of County Commissioners,subsequent to the advertising and adoption hung bift duly considered; of thea, same, and said budget being- new before this Board for final consideration Therefore.' Be it resolved that the Said County CommissloI budget and estimate of expenses and expenditures for the year ]AP -19+9 as heretofore prepared and duly advertiseds and it is herewith ratified' confirmedg and finally adopted by this Board subject to the following provisions, (First star • Board of Public Instruction) "Ho part of this appropriation shall be payable -unless and until the Board at r fI County Commissioners of Indian River County receives a sum in excess of $55'004.00 from rage .. ;•. r track funds during the fiscal year 1948-1949; after receipt of $559040900 by said County frpm I; said source in such fiscal year, and which sum has been otherwise appropriated, then all sums In excess of $559000.00 received from such source in such'year shall be paid to the Board ct Public Instruction of Indian River County until said Bayard shall have received $20,000,00 u from such source." Mrs. Patten of Roseland appeared before the Board and stated that she needed clothing for her children Vin order that they may enter school. She also stated that she needed an operation and that Dr. Fitts would perform such operation without charge provided the County would provide hospitalization. The Board authorized $35.00 for clothing and also hospitalization for the operation. Commissioner Helpling stated Rusty McPherson needed clothing for his children in I� order that they could enter school.
