RESOLVED, that this Board does herewith determine that there is the sum of Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($149000.00) surplus funds of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund of this County and which sum constitutes an excess and surplus over and above the sums deemed reasonably necessary for all other purposes of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund of this County in this year. To meet the -expenses estimated to be necessary to be paid out of the E EOHFEIME the sum of $36'510:00, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of,Ohe and Two-fifths (1 2/5) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the first day of January,, 1950, for the Fine & Forfeiture Fund, to meet the current expenses as estimated inI the budget. According to the millage so determined, fixed, assessed the total millage to be entered in the column provided for the County taxes in the Assessment Roll for the year 19499 is seven and -four -tenths (7.4) mills upon the dollar to cover a total estimated expenditure of $2259550-35- Commissioner 225,550.35. Seventy- five hundredths (.75) mill to be used fhr the paying of interest and providing a sinking fund for refunding bonds of said District dated the first day of December$ 1936, designated as 11=4 - and Seventy-five hundredths (075) mills for the purpose of paying interest upon, and providing a sinking fund for bonds of said district dated December 1, 1940, designated as 11-B. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, be and he is hereby directed to assess #nd levy all the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied by this Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation upon within the respective boundaries/which such taxes are levied; that a certified copy of this (resolution be furnished to the County Assessor of taxes.
