TUESDAY, MARCH lot 1927.
The Board of County Commissioners in and for radian River County, Florida, met
at the Court Rouse in Fero Beach, at 2 o'clock P.M.Tuesday, March lst 1927, with the
following members of the Board present: John H.Atkin, Chairman; Geo.A.Braddock; J.Wo
laBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present were Tiles Marren, Clerk and
J. W. Knight, Sheriff.
The
minutes of the previous
meeting were read
and
approved.
The
Notary Public bond of J.
J. Bustin in the
sum
of $500.00 with the American
'Surety Companap, a corporation, as surety was approved.

The Deputy Sheriff bond of W. T. Kemp in the sum of $1,000.00 with 2mmu1x2
B. P. Kemp
and XxxVzoXzkgft, as sureties was approved.
The Deputy 'Sheriff bond of T. D. Summerlin in the sum of $19000.00 with Ormond
Taylor and T. W. Knight, as sureties was approved.
Application having been made in person by Attorney, C.A.Cunningham, and by order
of the County Judge for the return of the cash bond of C.P.,rtin, in the sum of
3100.00 which cash . bond was regularly a streated in November 1926 term of County Court
and ordered paid into the Fine & Forfeiture Fund, which was paid in by the 3heriff
on December 6th 1926, and the Board having considered all the facts in connection there-
with, ordered that the application and order for such refund be rejected.
It was unanimously ordered that the management of building roads in Special Road
& Bridge District No. 4 be left entirely with the County Engineer to work out all
details in conne-ction with such program.
Gee T. Tippin, appeared before the Board and submitted a report of the activities
in connection with the Indian River County display at the -South Florida fair at Tampa,
ieh was read and approved by the Board.
It ma ordered that Mrs, John Yates, widow of Fellemere, who has six children
dependent upon her be placed on the Mother's Pension list to receive $20.00 per month.
The several bills against the County, having been audited, were examined, and
approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. Such approved vouchers
being on file in the Clerk's office and made a part of these minutes.
The County Depositories filed their monthly statements showing balance on hand,
receipts and disbursements for the month, and balance on hand at close of February,
which, after being audited, were found to be co rreet .
There being no further business the Board adjourned until the next regular meet-
ing in April.
