ADJOURNMENT ms lw Value Adjustment Board 1 2005 VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD (VAB) MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 22, 2006 The Value Adjustment Board of Indian River County, Florida, met in Conference Room "A" at the County Administration Building, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Monday, May 22, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Present were County Commissioner and VAB Chairman Wesley S. Davis, VAB Vice Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Commissioner Thomas S. Lowther, and School Board District 4 Member Ann Reuter and District 2 Member Lenora Quimby. Also present were Value Adjustment Board County Attorney William G. Collins II, Property Appraiser David Nolte, Deputy Chief Darlene Silverstein and Clerk of the Value Adjustment Board Maria I. Suesz. 1. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Wesley S. Davis called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. 2. INVOCATION Chairman Davis delivered the Invocation. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairman Davis led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 4. APPROVAL OF VAB MINUTES ON MOTION by Commissioner Lowther, SECONDED by Vice Chairman Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved the VAB Minutes of March 8, 2006, as written and distributed. C;) Value Adjustment Board- 1 - 5. APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MAGISTRATES' RECOMMENDATIONS a. Errors and Insolvencies (see attached list) Value— 14 denied, 9 withdrawn ON MOTION by Commissioner Lowther, SECONDED by School Board Member Reuter, the Board unanimously accepted Special Magistrate's Robinson's recommendations. b. Errors and Insolvencies (see attached list) Exemptions— 3 denied, 1 withdrawn ON MOTION by Commissioner Lowther, SECONDED by School Board Member Reuter, the Board unanimously accepted Special Magistrate Zahniser's recommendations. 6.
