WHEREAS, the construction of the sidewalk along the east side of Old Dixie Highway from 38th Lane to 45th Street is an Indian River County priority project; and WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is prepared to provide funds to pay for construction of a 5 -foot sidewalk along the east side of Old Dixie Highway from 38th Lane to 45th Street under the Local Agency Program (LAP); and WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, has requested Indian River County execute and deliver to the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, a Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement for the aforementioned project reducing the amount of the grant from $171,517.00 to $134,741.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to make, execute, and deliver to the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, a Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement for the aforementioned project.
