The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, -Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach on Monday, Maxch 14th, 1927 at 2 o'clock P.M. The following members of the Board were present: John H. Atkin, Chairman, Geo.A.Braddock; J. '.LaBruce and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. The Chairman announced the Board had been called together by him for tie purpose of arriving at some definite plan regarding the funds on hand in the Farmers Bank & Trust Company of Vero Beach, now closed, and such other business as may properly come before it. Mr. John Corsa. representing the Farmers Bank & Trust Company, (or the re -organiza- tion Cornnittee of such Bank) aPpeared before the Board with respect to public funds on deposit in such Bank and under the jurisdiction of this Board. After some discussion a*d taking into consideration the security now held by the State Comptroller and this Board, it was ordered that the Clerk write a letter to the Bank outlining and stating the terms of withdrawal this Board will follow in the event the institution is re -opened for business. The Deputy Sheriff bond of Walter Duncan in the sum of 41,000.00 with L.A.Moeller and T.M.Knight as sureties was approved. The following resolution was unanimously adopted. BE IS MSOLVBD by the Board of County Commissioners, that the sum of X3500.00 be transferred from the Fine & Forfeiture Fund to the General Revenue Fund, in order to meet current expenses now due and payable. Such transfer to be made only upon the approval of the State Comptroller. There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board them adjourned until the next regular meeting to be held in April 1927. ATTEST 1 e r . airman.
