HomeMy WebLinkAbout1/19/1953BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THat a certified copy of this Resolution be furf.ished to the Honorable Richard H. Simpson, Chairman, State Road Department, and to the Honorable Thomas B. Manuel, Member, State Road Department from this District. Copy of Report #3824, which was made on the audit of the accounts of the officials of Indian River County listed on the Title Page, was presented to the Board in connection with the Provision of Section 125.09, Florida Statutes, and ordered filed as a part of the public records of Indian River County. Tho_severhl".bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants.! so issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being • made a part of these minutes. The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and dis- hursements of the various funds, which having been audited, were found to be correct. There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board then adjourned. ATTEST: Monday , JANUARY 19, 1252 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House in a Special Meeting held at 10:00 o'clock A.M., Monday, January 19, 1953, with the follow- ing members present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Aubrey L. Waddell and Allison Warren. Absent were J. J. P. Hamilton and H. C. -Watts. Also present were E. E. Carter, Road and Bridge Superintendent and -Douglas Baker, Clerk. Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of County road right-of-way matters and such other business as might be properly brought before the Board. It was moved by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Warren and carried, that Anna F. Smith, a widow, be paid the sum of $800.00 from the Road and Bridge Fund for right-of-way land in connection with the Lateral "B" road.
