CDBG ABSTRACTOR SERVICES AGREEMENT NOV 1 ' 2003

TIJIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I�C/ day of
�Cfa Pr , 2003 , by and between the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
party of the first part, herein referred to as the "County" , and ATLANTIC COASTAL
TITLE , INC . , party of the second part, herein referred to as the "Abstractor" .
Whereas , the County has received a Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) from the United State Department of Housing and Urban Development to
perform housing rehabilitation in the Gifford area in Indian River County, Florida ; and
Whereas , the County solicited proposals for abstractors to perform title work
associated with the CDBG program ; and
Whereas , Atlantic Coastal Title , Inc . , was selected as the Abstractor ;
Now, therefore , the County enters into an Agreement with the Abstractor to
provide Ownership and Encumbrance Searches for the Indian River County
SHIP/Community Development Block Grant Program . The following are the terms of the
contract :
1 . Abstractor will perform ownership and encumbrance searches and will provide
documentation thereto at a cost of $ 150 . 00 per parcel .
2 . Abstractor will provide a description of search method (tract book,
grantor/grantee index , computer index, etc . )
3 . Abstractor will provide a description of how search located a wild deed or
instrument not appearing in chain of title , if applicable .
4 . Abstractor will provide proof of errors and omissions liability insurance up to the
statutory limit, and proof of commercial general liability insurance (up to
$200 , 000) .
5 . Abstractor will provide items 1 through 3 with a turn around time, from date of
request to date of delivery, of less than fifteen ( 15 ) working days .
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF , Indian River County has caused this document to
be executed by its Community Development Director, all by authority duly given,
and the party of the second part has hereunto set his hand, this day and year first
written.
