AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREMENT
AMENDMENT NO , ONE
THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this day of 2003 , by and
between the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION , an agency of the State of
Florida , hereinafter called the Department, and INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, hereinafter referred to as the
COUNTY.
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS , on MAY 31 , 2002 , the parties entered into a SMALL COUNTY OUTREACH PROGRAM
AGREEMENT, hereinafter referred to as AGREEMENT, wherein the DEPARTMENT agreed to provide
funding towards certain improvements , described as follows , and hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT:
410849 =1 -58 -01 MILLING AND RESURFACING OF CR-609/OLSO ROAD FROM LATERAL " J " TO 20TH
AVENUE , and ,
WHEREAS , the parties hereto have determined a need to amend the Agreement to : change the
Project limits for the project, and
WHEREAS , the parties hereto mutually agree that such amendment is in their best interest;
NOW, THEREFORE , in consideration of the mutual covenants , promises , and representations herein ,
the parties agree to amend that certain County Incentive Grant Program Agreement dated MAY 319 2002 as
follows : :
1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are deemed incorporated herein .
2 . Paragraph 2A, on page 1 shall be removed in its entirety and replaced as follows :
A. The COUNTY shall furnish the services with which to construct the PROJECT. Said PROJECT
Consists of: milling and resurfacing of roadway from 20th Avenue to 27th Avenue .
All provisions , covenants , terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT between the parties theretofore
entered into under the date of MAY 31 , 2002 , as originally set forth therein , which have not been previously
amended , and which are not hereby expressly amended or modified and not in conflict with the terms hereof,
are hereby ratified and confirmed and shall remain the same and be unaffected by these presents .

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE to be executed by the parties
below for the purposes specified herein .
