FOR
PROFESSIONAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR STANDARD PENETRATION TESTS, SOILS CLASSIFICATION
and WRITTEN REPORT SERVICES, at EGRET MARSH STORMWATER PARK
PUMP STATION "D" SITE
CONTRACT #IRC 0534,2007=2008

This Work Order No. AMET-1 EM is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT #IRC 0534
dated September 11, 2007 between A.M. Engineering & Testing, Inc. (GEOTECHNICAL
PROFESSIONAL) and Indian River County (COUNTY).
This Work Order No. AMET-1 EM amends the AGREEMENT as follows:
SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS:
The number, location and depth of required soils penetration borings are indicated on the
attached "Lateral "D" Canal Pump Station Plan and Details".
SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES:
This Work Order No. AMET-1 EM is for providing all Professional Geotechnical services related
to the task and services as indicated in the attached "EXHIBIT A". GEOTECHNICAL
PROFESSIONAL shall provide COUNTY with four (4) copies of the final written report.
SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION:
Field work shall begin within 7 calendar days of the written notice to proceed date. All
services shall be completed, in its entirety, within 7 calendar days of the written notice to
proceed date. Field work shall not exceed 2 working days. The County shall be notified
upon the start and completion of field work and/or of any delay beyond specified periods.
SECTION IV — COMPENSATION:
The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL agrees to accept,
a fee for services rendered according to the "Scope of Services" identified in Sections I, III
and IV of this Work Order No. AMET-1 EM, a Lump Sum of $1,665.00.

All invoicing shall be supported with documentation of actual drilling footage and
engineering man hours, prior to payments,
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein, All remaining sections
of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein,

Work Order AMET-1 EM
• Explore the subsurface conditions at the proposed Egret Marsh Stormwater Park
Pumping Station "D" project with one (1) 40 -foot deep Standard Penetration Test (SPT)
borings within the pumping station area.
• Select soil samples and classify the soils in accordance with the Unified soil
classification system (USCS).
• Submit 4 copies of a written report which furnishes findings of the field testing, and
recommendations regarding site preparation and foundation design criteria.
