Scope of Services All work shall be performed on a unit price basis in accordance with the attached Proposals ( Exhibit A and B) dated December 22 , 2008 and December 24 , 2008 and shall comply with Standards enumerated in the RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT IRC PROJECT NO . 0701 WITH A . M . ENGINEERING AND TESTING , INC . Effective Date : November 18 , 2008 . All work shall also comply with the current Florida Minimum Technical Standards . COMPENSATION . The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the Geotechnical Professional agrees to accept , a fee for services rendered according to the Proposal ( Exhibit A and B) as attached . We understand our scope of work 111CluCICS determining the permeability of' the In - place soils III the elevation 17 to 15 feet zone, a few feet below the existing grades . Test wells would be installed from tile ground surface using a 2 - inch diameter pvc pipe placed inside a 4 - inch diameter borehole . The bottom of the well would be slotted and encased in coarse sand interfacing the soil from elevation 17 to elevation t5 . A bentonite seal would be placed directly above the slotted portion . Falling head and/or constant head tests would be run to determine the soil permeability of the layer and the results would be expressed in feet per day .
