IMPROVEMENT OF THE INTERSECTION OF SR 60 & 43RD A 0 o p'_ � , VENUE PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING & STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AMENDMENT NO, 3 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARCADIS G & M, Inc. AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , FLORIDA. This is an amendment to the existing Engineering Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated September 6, 2005 between ARCADIS G&M , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I — Project Limits and Description", " Section III - Scope of Services " , and " Section V - Compensation " . Amendment Description This Amendment includes the following : " SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to incorporate the following : Consultant services are required for the modification of road design plans ; bridge plans ; permit applications and utility relocations associated with the construction of SR 60 / 43rd Avenue Intersection Improvements . Storm water quality treatment and attenuation are required along 43rd Avenue . In order to provide for this treatment, a dry storm water detention area is proposed to be constructed on 44th Avenue south of 19th Street . Engineer will perform a field survey along 19th Street from 43rd Avenue to 44th Avenue , and along 44th Avenue from the detention area site to SR 60 . The field survey will consist of a location and topographic survey of the roadways . All above ground physical features will be located . Cross sectional information will be obtained at l 00- foot intervals for use in the design of the project . The location and elevation of all existing storm drainage pipes , inlets and manholes will be obtained. Plans will be prepared for the dry detention area and the inlet and outfall piping . The inlet piping will extend from 43 `d Avenue to the detention area site . The outfall piping will extend from the dry detention area to SR 60 . The plan modifications will consist of plan and profile sheets, cross sections , and details . Permit applications will be submitted to the St . Johns River Water Management District and the Indian River Farms Water Control District . Modifications have been made to the alignment of 43rd Avenue north of SR 60 to reduce the impact to the adjacent properties . ARCADIS will modify the right of way maps and sketcah and legal descriptions to reflect these plan modifications . Engineer will prepare 90% , and 100% plans . The plan modifications will consist of the following : • Modifications to the storm water drainage system to incorporate piping of the roadway runoff to the proposed detention area on 44th Avenue . • The preparation of construction plans for piping from 43 �d Avenue to the detention area site , and from the detention area site to connect to the existing piping system at SR 60 . • The preparation of construction plans for the pond site . • Obtaining seven (7) SPT soil test borings of the roadway and detention area site . Once permits are received, 100% design drawings shall be completed 90 days thereafter. " SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following : The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant to this Agreement fees in accordance with the following : A . All other sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect and are incorporated herein . This Amendment No . 3 to the AGREEMENT regardless of where executed , shall be governed by and constructed by the laws of the State of Florida.
