ARDAMAN & ASSOCIATES INC .
All services performed under this contract shall be supervised and certified by a licensed
Professional Engineer ( PE) registered with the State of Florida and staff employed directly with
your firm .
Scope of Services
All work shall be performed on a unit price basis in accordance with the attached Scope of
Services dated July 18 , 2008 and shall comply with Standards enumerated in the RENEWAL
OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT , IRC PROJECT NO . 0534 WITH
ARDAMAN & ASSOCIATES . INC . Effective Date : September 11 , 2007 .
Minimum Specification Requirements as follows :
Soil Compaction
Concrete Compressive Strength Testing
All work shall also comply with the current Florida Minimum Technical Standards .
COMPENSATION .
The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the Geotechnical Professional agrees to accept , a fee for
services rendered according to the " Scope of Services" identified in the attached EXHIBIT "A"
Fee Schedule and Man Hours .
A Not-to- Exceed Amount of: $ 1 , 904 . 00 to be paid on a unit price basis for actual work
performed in accordance with the schedule of services and fees set forth in Exhibit A of
RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT , IRC PROJECT NO .
0534 WITH ARDAMAN & ASSOCIATES . INC . Effective Date : September 11 , 2007 .

Indian River Boulevard Sidewalk Project ( 12th Street to 17th Street)

Mr . Mezzina :
As requested , we are pleased to present the following proposal for construction materials testing services for
the above referenced project. Based on our review of the provided plans , we understand that the project
includes the installation of various stormwater drainage improvements and the construction of a pedestrian
sidewalk along Indian River Boulevard from 12th Street to 17th Street . The costs associated with performing
the necessary testing services for the subject project are presented below. The total cost will not be exceeded
without prior authorization . Our estimated services are itemized as follows :
Soil Compaction Testina:
Stormwater Drainage Improvements (structures and pipe backfill ) :
In -Place Density Tests ; 20 tests @ $22 .00/test $ 440 . 00
Modified Proctor Tests ; 2 tests @ $80 . 00/test $ 160 . 00
Engineering Technician (soil sampling for proctors ) ; 2 hours @ $42 . 00/hour $ 84 . 00
Sidewalk Subgrade :
In-Place Density Tests ; 20 tests @ $22 . 00/test $ 440 . 00
Modified Proctor Test; 1 test @ $80 . 00/test $ 80 . 00
Concrete Compressive Strength Testing:
(assume one set of cylinders taken per each 50 cubic yards or per day's production )
Estimate 10 sets of 4 concrete cylinders @ $70 . 00/set $ 700 . 00
Total Anticipated Project Cost : 15904e00
